PERMITS & LICENCES

We apply to the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA) for export and transfer permits, free notifications (Nullbescheid) or information on the classification of goods if your goods are or could be subject to export control. In this way, we ensure that the integrity of your company is protected and that you can master a foreign trade audit without any complaints. When importing, the following permits come into consideration, which we will be happy to obtain for you:

• CHED-A> live animals 
• CHED-D> non-animal food and feed (e.g. hazelnuts, pistachios, peanuts, mandarins, grapes)
• CHED-P> food of animal origin and by-products (e.g. sausages, pasta stuffed with meat or preparations containing meat and / or milk)
• CHED-PP> plants and plant products 
• Certificate of conformity / disclaimer for fruit and vegetables for which marketing standards have been defined.

Our professionals have detailed knowledge of the Europe-wide border clearance of goods subject to control via the TRACES or QUAKON systems as well as the special legal regulations and exceptional circumstances.

Passing customs is one thing, then placing the goods on the market or putting them into service is another thing. Numerous goods are only subject to a risk-based control during customs clearance, without certain permits being a mandatory import requirement. “Duty-paid” does not mean that the conformity of the goods with the relevant market access regulations is confirmed by customs. Every company is responsible for this.
